“To be a Christian is to be one who hopes; it is to situate oneself on the foundation of true hope…hope is not one virtue among others; it is the very definition of Christian existence.” (Joseph Ratzinger)
Dear friends:
The late Holy Father Benedict XVI reminds us that it is hope that expands and defines us. Indeed, it is hope that makes us capable of receiving the Lord in our minds and hearts. For over a hundred years, Theological College has been a school of hope. This past semester has witnessed to the myriad ways our seminarians, faculty, and staff have lived out this Christian virtue as we seek to guide and support men who are committed to growing in mature holiness as true ministers of the Word. May we continue to form men who will be living signs of humanity’s true hope!
Wishing you a happy and holy Christmas Season and blessed New Year,
Father Bud Stevens
