Seven Theological College men (from six different dioceses), who are preparing for ordination to the diaconate, signed the Oath of Fidelity after their public Profession of Faith at morning Mass in the seminary on March 18th. These final steps of preparation were taken after first undergoing the scrutinies with the Rector, Fr. Brown, and an interview (regarding understanding of the priestly commitments of prayer, celibacy, obedience, and simplicity); signing a pledge of freedom; and formally requesting admittance to orders from their bishops.
