Alumni Day 2019
Theological College’s annual Alumni Day reunion was once again a joyful gathering of graduates, with this year’s class representation ranging back to the Basselin Class of 1956, right up to the Class of 2019, including some of the newly ordained priests now in residence in Providence Hall.

Orientation and Opening Events 2019
For the 2019-20 formation year at Theological College and The Catholic University of America, TC welcomed 18 new seminarians from 12 different dioceses, as well as eight student priests who would be the first ever to live in the new priests residence in Providence Hall, dedicated during orientation week by Very Rev. John Kemper, P.S.S.
TC’s New Vice-Rector
After three years of dynamic service as Vice-Rector of Theological College, Rev. Hy Nguyen has been appointed Rector of Assumption Seminary. Theological College’s Rev. Dominic Ciriaco will assume the Vice-Rector role when the seminarians return to TC in a few weeks.
Archdiocese of Washington Ordinations
On June 15, 2019, three Theological College seminarians were ordained to the priesthood of Jesus Christ in the company of seven other Archdiocese of Washington seminarians.
Institute for Seminary Formators 2019
Every two years, the Sulpician Institute for Seminary Formators offers an eight-day education program for those in seminary formation ministry, following the guidelines of Pastored Dabo Vobis and the most recent PPF.
Graduation 2019
Theological College’s Class of 2019, one of the largest in 30 years, celebrated the accomplishments of 16 theologians and 3 Basselin scholars.
Pastoral Supervisors Appreciation Evening
Each year, Theological College hosts those who so generously assist our seminarians in their pastoral placement ministries. The TC community gathered on April 3rd to thank the many people who accompany our seminarians in these placements.
Honduras Mission Trip
Mission trips are a popular option for TC students during spring break. This month, as every year, a group set out to help the poor in Appalachia, while an even larger contingent headed to Honduras. One seminarian shares his experience working with the Misioneros de Cristo in Comayagua…
The Alberione Project
A unique media formation initiative has been underway at TC: The Alberione Project. Supported by faculty and fueled by seminarians inspired by Bishop Robert Barron, papal documents, and the holy example of Blessed James Alberione, their work will inform seminarians around the country for years to come.
